Leonard Pitts

Leonard Pitts is a writer for the Miami Herald and in this article he delves into the origins of "race".  Pitts dubs it "a term both meaningful and yet, profoundly meaningless".  Pitts offers many intriguing points about ethnicity, the meaning of "black" and "white", and the profiling of George Zimmerman (Trayvon Martin's murderer).
